Little Gang (Jacob Snavely from Dag for Dag) to release debut album – 4th June!‏

Little Gang is centred around the unsettled energy of Stockholm based musician, Jacob Snavely.  After numerous relocations in his native USA, a move from San Francisco to London was in order.  Not long after setting up camp in London, fellow Bay Area cronies Two Gallants came to the call, and after a year and a half tour managing, Jacob was curious to experiment with music of his own.  Sweden´s capital became the breeding ground and together with his sister, Sarah they formed the band, Dag för Dag.

As the process developed, Jacob yearned to create music in a new way, allowing the words and voice to pave the sonic picture.  Armed with intent, energy, anecdote and loose musical ideas, he began a series of sessions in various dungeons and music rooms, together with new friends in his adopted home of Stockholm.   As the songs developed, and the idea of Little Gang took root, the goal became possible, and he quickly got these ideas down on tape to see what would become.  In the winter and spring of 2011, Carl Von Arbin (Shout Out Louds), Rebekka Karijord, Erik Nilsson (Ane Brun), Elias Krantz (Hhapiness), Tobias Fröberg, and Johannes Berglund got together with Jacob Snavely to start recording a new record.  The result is a beat driven, vocal forward album composed of raw, radiant, wise and naïve songs.

With this, Little Gang will be releasing their début album, Half of Everything on the 4th June on Control Freak Kitten Records.
