Summer Cannibals announce UK tour dates!

The album’s title track is exemplary of that control, with alternating sections of calm and mayhem reminiscent of early Sleater-Kinney. It’s a jagged, blistering three and half minutes of intertwining, rhythmic bass and electric riffs and smashing drums.”   Stereogum

“Recent Kill Rock Stars signees Summer Cannibals expertly balance flame-belching Mad Max riffage with lyrics frankly exploring questions of co-dependence and need.”  Pitchfork

“… Summer Cannibals bring raw and driving guitar rock, with shredding from front woman Jessica Boudreaux and an attitude that honors the band’s namesake, a song performed by Patti Smith.”  NPR All Songs Considered

“The band’s latest zooms in with a series of robust guitar chugs, sharpening its already metallic edge.” SPIN

“There are shades of late 90s Sleater-Kinney in the loud-quiet-loud of it all, not least in Boudreaux’s voice, snarling at all the right moments.”  Noisey

“ …refine the fuzzy garage-pop of its debut into something sharper, tighter, and much more difficult to shake off.”  Entertainment Weekly

Portland rock band Summer Cannibals have unleashed their unique brand of rib-rattling punk prose with their 3rd full-length LP, Full Of It, on the legendary independent label Kill Rock Stars.

Led by guitarist/vocalist Jessica Boudreaux and aided by a powerhouse rhythm section of drummer Devon Shirley, bassist Jenny Logan and guitarist Marc Swart, the eleven songs spark with that perfect mix of snotty attitude, unbounded energy, and window rattling volume. On Full Of It, the four musicians keep their collective foot on the gas pedal.

An immediate earworm of distorted guitar, growling bass and irresistible vocal licks, Summer Cannibals will be coming to a town near you this autumn!  Check out the UK dates  below – more to be announced shortly.
