Silver PR is a young music PR company with an eclectic roster specialising in indie rock and underground music. Rachel Silver started Silver PR in April 2002 after years of working with many of the biggest names in Public Relations. She now wants to use her experience and press contacts to work with up-and-coming bands and companies that she believes in. The mission of Silver PR is to take on bands we like and therefore offer a more individual and dedicated approach - helping great bands to get the coverage they deserve.

Silver PR can offer smaller clients the media contacts they previously only had access to with larger companies. At Silver PR, the focus is on personal contact and developing a publicity campaign that is tailor-made to each client's needs and budget.

Rachel Silver has worked for some of the UK's biggest PR agencies - Freud Communications, the Coalition Group and the Outside Organisation. She has worked with Top 20 bands, celebrities and TV shows such as TFI Friday and Big Brother. Rachel has also worked on national press campaigns for high profile events including the NME Carling Awards, the MOBO Awards, the Mercury Music Prize, Party in the Park, and the BAFTA Film Awards. With over 10 years PR experience together with a passion for good music - Rachel and her team gets the coverage the clients want.

Silver PR has an extensive media database that will ensure coverage from consumer, lifestyle and specialist publications to national broadsheets and tabloids.

Silver PR is responsible for bringing bands such as Erase Errata, Ex Models, Panthers and Coachwhips to public notice in the UK - not forgetting home-grown bands such as Gin Palace, The Hells and Electric Shocks.
